Oni Swipe helps you review your own photos and choose what to keep or mark for deletion. The app’s photo-organizing features do not send your photos or their information to the developer’s servers.

Information processed on your device

• Photos you allow the app to access, including their capture dates, pixel dimensions, types, and locations recorded in the photos. These are used to display and group photos.
• Identifiers of photos marked for deletion, your selected date range and review mode, and your swipe progress. These are used to save the Trash and resume an interrupted cleanup.
• The number of photos deleted, used on the completion screen. Version 1.0.1 and later do not read or display device available space. Earlier versions read available space and saved capacity readings and cleanup-start times locally. Those saved values are retained unchanged and are not used for new measurements or updates.

This information is processed on your device. The app uses locations recorded in photos; it does not continuously collect your current location.

Photo access and deletion

Photo access uses iOS permissions. You can change which photos the app may access in iPhone Settings. Deletion happens after you review your choices, request deletion, and confirm with iOS.

If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletions also apply to iCloud and other devices that are syncing. Deleted photos normally remain in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Photos you permanently delete there cannot be recovered.

iCloud and other Apple services

To display photos stored in iCloud, iOS photo services may download images. iCloud Photos syncing, device backups, and App Store purchases follow Apple’s services and your settings. The developer of Oni Swipe does not receive copies of your photos.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

Oni Swipe has no advertising, custom analytics that send usage data to the developer, or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. No account registration is required.

Support inquiries

If you contact us by email, we use your email address, message, and any information you choose to attach to reply and investigate issues. We keep that information only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and delete it when no longer needed.

We use Cloudflare Email Routing to receive and forward email, and Gmail to respond. We do not sell or provide inquiry information for advertising. To request deletion of your inquiry information, contact the address below.

This website

This page has no custom analytics or advertising. GitHub Pages, the hosting provider, may process access information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Changes and contact

If the app’s features or information handling change, we will update this page and its revision date.
